The Debut of SolidddVision Glasses at CES

Since the debut of SolidddVision™ smartglasses at CES last month, we have been overwhelmed by requests from those who live with macular degeneration and other conditions with damage to the retina – as well as the medical community. The large number of inquiries we’ve received is reflective of the tremendous need for SolidddVision smartglasses, with 20 million people in the U.S. and 200 million worldwide having macular degeneration.
Only Soliddd, with its multi-patented, SolidddVision proprietary optics and software – including computer vision AI technology – corrects the eyesight of people living with macular degeneration.

And the winner is...

Soliddd was also recognized at CES with two high-profile awards for our breakthrough SolidddVision smartglasses:
•    CTA Foundation CES 2025 Eureka Park Accessibility Contest Winner
•    Techlicious CES 2025 Editor’s Choice Award

The Soliddd team at CES receiving the CTA Foundation CES 2025 Eureka Park Accessibility award. From the CTA Foundation: “Soliddd is an optical technology company that has created the first low-vision aid for macular degeneration, restoring sight in previously blind areas of the visual field. Their innovative electronic eyeglasses use parallel light rays to enhance retinal mapping and provide stereo vision, going beyond traditional AR aids. This unique technology, known as SolidddVision, focuses on vision correction and health while improving gaze tracking and diagnostics.”

Patient Trials

We are now preparing for phase 2 of patient trials in the U.S. and Europe with the beta version of SolidddVision as shown at CES, we wanted to share with you more recent physician and patient comments:

“After over two decades of experiencing distorted vision from a retinal detachment, sampling the SolidddVision smartglasses enabled me to see without double vision and distortion that has affected my daily life. Their innovative solution would allow me to confidently read, work on a computer, and navigate daily tasks with normal vision again.”

Ryan Gustus

“I’ve had the opportunity to introduce Soliddd’s technology to some of my patients. One case, in particular, stands out. A younger patient with significant vision loss, who had tried multiple assistive devices in the past, was amazed by how quickly her brain adapted to the Soliddd lenses. She remarked on how natural the experience felt compared to other devices and how much of her vision seemed to be restored. The ease of adaptation and the quality of vision she experienced were remarkable.”

These have been the types of reactions that we’ve received throughout our initial trials, and we expect nothing less as we move forward.

More information on our phase 2 trial and how to be considered to become a trial candidate will be made available in future newsletters.

Our expectations, as we’ve mentioned before, are to have the consumer launch of SolidddVision smartglasses for macular degeneration this year. We’ll be updating you throughout the pre-launch process on more details as they become available.
